University of Toronto Graduate Student Endowment
In 1997 the Foundation negotiated an agreement in which a grant of $3,300,000 from the Foundation to the University of Toronto was matched equally by the University and the Ontario Government through the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund. This established a $9,900,000 endowment to be held by the University for the benefit of graduate students studying with University faculty members located at Princess Margaret Hospital and engaged in cancer research.
