Today: Your Trip Starts Now
By signing up today at www.ConquerCancer.ca or (416) 815-RIDE, you’ll embark on an amazing journey. You will meet other participants, start training and fundraise for critical cancer research at Princess Margaret Hospital.
Friday, June 20, 2008: Check-In
Along with fellow Riders, you’ll check-in, hand in last-minute donations, and get oriented for the big weekend.
Saturday, June 21, 2008: Day One
It all begins with a sunrise ceremony to remember those lost to cancer and to honour those fighting on. You’ll then set out on an Olympic Silver Medalist Steve Bauer-approved route. There will be pit stops every 25–30 km until you reach the incredible tent city, where a rib-stacking dinner, massage, and entertainment await.
Sunday, June 22, 2008: Day Two
It’s your victorious trip to the end of the route—through the scenery of the Golden Horseshoe that ends at one of the wonders of the world, Niagara Falls. The Closing Ceremony will begin once the final rider arrives. Following the emotional closing ceremony, you will head back home on the Via Rail Conquest Express.
